As a recovery coach, I bring a unique blend of empathy, expertise, and encouragement to guide you through your journey of post-surgery rehabilitation. With a background in physical therapy, mindful yoga , meditation and breathwork, plus personal experience in overcoming my own hip replacement challenges, I understand the physical and emotional hurdles that accompany such a process.

My personalized approach focuses on empowering clients to regain mobility, manage pain, release trauma, address anxiety and mental health through compassionate enquiry and rebuild strength through tailored exercise programs, lifestyle adjustments, and emotional support.

Through both one-on-one sessions and group support the ongoing communication provides a safe and supportive environment where clients can express their concerns, celebrate milestones, and stay motivated on the path to full recovery.


My passion and ultimate goal is to help individuals not only recover from surgery but also regain confidence, independence, more energy and vitality and a renewed sense of well-being in their daily lives.

I firmly believe in the synergy between the body and mind for optimal well-being. In our work together, we explore conscious connected breath to release trauma from the body and settle the nervous system, mindfulness tools for mental health, anxiety and acceptance and somatic practices, like mindful movement and yoga to shift patterns, increase flexibility and vitality.

MINDFULNESS
MEDITATION

YOGA & MOVEMENT

A somatic-based yoga practice offers a gentle yet profound approach to healing and rejuvenation. Through mindful movements, you are guided to soften into their bodies, allowing tension to dissolve and sore or new joints to find relief. This practice cultivates awareness of the body's wisdom, encouraging you to listen to its signals and needs. Central to the practice is the breath, which serves as a steadfast anchor, guiding individuals through movements and facilitating the release of old patterns and trauma stored within the body. Using breath and mindful movement, clients are invited to unravel and re-boot themselves, promoting holistic healing and fostering a healthy body-mind connection. This somatic-based approach not only supports physical recovery from surgery but also nurtures a resilient and balanced mindset, laying the groundwork for long-term well-being and vitality.

 

I am an experienced breathwork, mindfulness and yoga movement facilitator with over 25 years of working with the body/mind healing and self enquiry.

We would start with an initial free 15 minute consultation to find out how I can support you and we would discuss what goals you have in mind

You can choose to work with me on a specific area or on several together as a holistic and healthy body mind map as all are entwined
