Monthly Online Conscious Connected Breathwork Ceremonies

Conscious Connected Breathwork

Wednesday evenings 7-8.30pm (UK)

Our breath is connected with our every emotion and thought and it is the first thing we lose when we are tense, upset or anxious. Have you noticed how the breath changes with our moods – short and shallow when tense or angry, faster when excited, slow and full when we are happy and relaxed … and almost disappear when we are scared.

Breathwork is a powerful practice that can help to relieve physical and emotional tension, supporting the body in detoxing, as well as reduce anxiety, boost your immune system, support better quality sleep and deeper lung capacity

It can be a deeply transformative practice giving us the opportunity to deeply connect with our core being, releasing and healing on many levels… And it can also be peaceful, profound and gentle. As in life, breathwork can be varied, so please let go of expectations and come with an open mind and heart.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING? HOW SHOULD YOU PREPARE?

To make the most of this session please:

*Find a space where you can lie down and you won’t be disturbed, put your phone on silent.

* Make sure you have a good internet connection.

*It is recommended not to eat about 2 hours before, if possible, but if you need to eat, its ok, just know breathing with a full tummy can be a bit uncomfortable

* Have a bottle of water

* Have a journal or notepad and pen, you may want to make notes of any insights

* Have a shawl or blanket near you in case your body temperature changes

Please take a few moments to read this information below as I value a positive group atmosphere with respect and trust.

I also request that you agree to honour confidentiality in the space.

As a facilitator of breathwork, I cannot be held responsible for any mental, physical or emotional challenges that may arise due to taking part in breathwork.

By registering for this session, you agree that you are suitably resourced (mentally, physically and emotionally) to participate in the practice.

Please don’t be concerned, but there is some information to note prior to breathing in this way.

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE COMMITTING TO JOIN THE SESSION

If you have any health considerations, please first consult your GP or healthcare provider before joining a breathwork session, particularly if it is your first time.

WHO IS LEADING THE SESSION?

A little about me, I am a trauma-informed breathwork practitioner and i’ve been teaching mindfulness meditation and yoga for over 21 years, running retreats and workshops internationally since 1999.

I am a senior mentor with Integrative Breath Facilitator Training offering both in-person and online monthly breathwork ceremonies, women’s circles alongside coaching 1-2-1 with clients.
I have trained as a Mental Health First Aider, where I work with anxiety and stress reduction through both mindfulness and breathwork.
